SPCC is a partner in the following community collaborative efforts:
Successfully Transitioning Youth to Adolescence (STYA): STYA is a program funded by the University of Rochester that provides pre-adolescent youth with unique experiences from which they can develop extracurricular interests, be exposed to new opportunities, develop social connections, and much more. Kids ages 9-12 from various urban neighborhoods are invited to partake in three different sessions throughout the year (Fall/Winter, Spring, and Summer). Parent Engagement is an integrated piece in that families are encouraged to join together in developing their children into healthy teens.
