Our Mission: The WIC Vendor Management Agency is committed to ensuring participant access to nutritious foods by providing support that assists authorized WIC vendors in achieving contract compliance.
SPCC's VMA program oversees contracts with approximately 400 WIC vendors in 17 counties throughout Western New York. Vendors include supermarkets and grocery stores that are approved to accept WIC checks from families enrolled in the WIC program. New vendors are processed, store personnel are trained and stores are monitored for compliance by SPCC's VMA staff.
