Yolanda A. Smith, M.S., M.Ed., K-12 Education Administrator and School Counselor for over 25 years. Yolanda’s expertise includes large- and small-scale program development, implementation and assessment, intercultural competence, small and large group facilitation, curriculum development, crisis management, counselor/teacher supervision, special education core competencies and conflict resolution.

Yolanda has held diverse positions in the education field to include non-public education administrator and school counselor, urban & suburban school counselor, education for profit assistant director of education, K-12 district level administrator, adjunct professor, and lead instructor supervisor/lead instructor trainer for urban/suburban youth employment program.

Yolanda currently works at the Society for the Protection and Care of Children – Mary Ellen Institute in Rochester, New York as an Infant Mental Health Trainer and caregiver for her 88-year-old mother.

Yolanda holds an Associate’s Degree in Fashion Merchandising Management from Bryant & Stratton College, Bachelor of Science in Sociology from SUNY Brockport, a Master’s of Science in Education and Human Development/Secondary Guidance from the University of Rochester, a Master’s of Science in Education Administration from SUNY Oswego and looking forward to pursuing her mental health licensure in the spring of 2025.

Yolanda is also a policy enthusiast, datacentric, solution focused, results driven and has a special affinity for serving individuals in the urban environment.

In her free time, she enjoys political talk radio, spa treatments, shopping and listening to audio books.
