TITLE: PREPARE Project Lead Coordinator (20 hrs) + Therapeutic Visitation Program (TVP) Clinician (20 hrs)
REPORTS TO: Director of Clinical and Reflective Practices + TVP Clinical Supervisor
HOURS: 20 hours per week for PREPARE duties and 20 hours per week as a TVP Clinician. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with some evening hours required for TVP.
SALARY: $27.39-$28.75/hour; non-exempt
JOB SUMMARY:
PREPARE Project Lead Coordinator: This role provides oversight and support for the PREPARE project, including administrative and reflective supervision for facilitation staff and onsite assistance during COSP (Circle of Security Parenting) and Baby & Me groups. Responsibilities include supporting the overall functioning of the program by serving as the liaison between the program, the funder, and collaborative partners. Additionally, this role requires being attuned to family needs and focusing on supporting faster and safe reunification between children living in foster care and their families. Duties also involve maintaining accurate data using a tracker, attending implementation and funder meetings, and fostering collaborative relationships with caregivers, professionals, and stakeholders.
TVP Clinician: The TVP Clinician provides therapeutic services to children and their parents impacted by maltreatment, neglect, attachment disruptions, trauma, and related challenges. Services are delivered within the context of supervised visitation, with a focus on promoting healing and child well-being. The clinician employs attachment theory and evidence-based, trauma-informed practices, supports program interns through training and observation opportunities, and engages in professional development.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
PREPARE Responsibilities:
• Step in as needed to co-facilitate COSP and Baby & Me groups.
• Conduct individual participant orientations (via phone, virtual, or in-person) in collaboration with
the PREPARE Facilitation Team, ensuring a participant-centered approach.
• Collect and report cohort-specific statistics using the data tracker and ensure timely submissions to
funders.
• Facilitate the completion of pre/post measures by participants.
• Organize and lead weekly meetings with the PREPARE Facilitation Team to ensure service
coordination.
• Provide weekly individual supervision to Parent Mentor (part of the PREPARE Facilitation Team).
• Partner with the team to provide information sessions for participants and stakeholders as needed;
assess ongoing needs.
• Create and distribute a weekly newsletter to parents, foster parents, caseworkers, and stakeholders.
• Document group participation and themes using Connections and COMET systems.
• Advocate for and support families as needed.
• Attend bi-weekly project meetings, COSP fidelity support, monthly funder meetings, and
evaluation/quality support meetings as required.
• Update and share referral forms, cohort schedules, and project flyers with MCDHS representatives
for distribution to child welfare teams; collaborate with MCDHS to identify participants and

coordinate with families, caseworkers, and facilitators.
• Participate actively in individual and group supervision sessions.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Director of Clinical and Reflective Practices.
TVP Responsibilities:
• Schedule and conduct orientation sessions with program participants (parents/caregivers and
children) after connecting with referral sources.
• Assess family readiness for therapeutic visits; schedule additional individual sessions as needed.
• Provide therapy to children and parents during supervised visits.
• Meet individually with parents to support therapeutic goals for their children.
• Manage all aspects of assigned cases, including intake, assessment, treatment goal development,
therapy sessions, reports, and court testimony.
• Communicate with outside parties involved in each case (e.g., caseworkers, attorneys, other
therapists).
• Maintain confidential case files in compliance with program and agency standards.
• Prepare and submit court reports by required deadlines for supervisor review.
• Provide case management, safety planning, advocacy, and referrals as needed.
• Submit monthly case activity statistics to the supervisor by the 5th of each month.
• Support program interns with training, observation opportunities, and guidance as needed.
• Actively engage in individual and group supervision sessions.

Education and Experience
• Master’s degree in social work, mental health counseling, or a related field, with at least 2 years of
clinical experience with children and families preferred.
• Clinically licensed or license-eligible; licensure required within 1 year of hire.
• Training as a COSP facilitator or complete training within 3 months of hire.
• Training in Infant Mental Health (IMH) or start training within 6 months of hire.
• NYSAIMH endorsed within 6 months of hire.

• Experience in the child welfare system, particularly with supervisors and administrators.
• Program leadership experience or demonstrated interest and willingness to build leadership skills through training.
