Leah has spent her career focusing on helping children, families and adults heal from trauma. Her main areas of clinical focus have included sexual and domestic violence, child maltreatment, grief and loss, and working with young children and their caregivers. Leah has found meaning and purpose in walking alongside people in some of the darkest times of their lives and finding hope and new beginnings. Leah has also been a supervisor in several trauma therapy programs and has supported interns and staff members in providing trauma-informed, relationship-based services. She hopes for the world to be more aware, attuned and responsive to the needs of young children and their caregivers, so that the world can be a better place for all of us. She is trying to grow and find more joy every day. Leah is a lifelong learner and continuously learns from everyone she meets, in particular her curious and expressive children.
