Young Professionals Board Expectations

• The Young Professionals Board (YPB) meets quarterly for in-person meetings, with occasional email collaboration in between. Participation is integral and encouraged. We ask that board members attend all or most meetings. Advance notice of meeting location and time will be provided.


• We ask that board members familiarize themselves with SPCC's programs and services, as well as the mission and values, so that they may speak articulately about SPCC and represent the organization in the community.
• YPB members are asked to volunteer at fundraising events throughout the year, as well as provide assistance with planning and debriefing afterward.


• Part of SPCC's development and marketing efforts are dependent on the growth of our social media platforms. We ask that YP Board members follow and "like" SPCC's pages, and share, comment on, and "like" new posts, as well as promote SPCC's annual fundraising events within their professional and personal circles.


• New members are welcome and encouraged to apply. Please consider friends and colleagues you may have that would be interested in SPCC, and specifically in the Young Professionals Board. Interested applicants are welcome to join for a meeting or event to learn more!
